Builds

How Runtime builds your application.

id0n build workers build your application. You choose supported build settings; id0n runs the build environment.

What you can set

  • Which supported builder to use, and which subdirectory of the repository to build.
  • Build settings supported by that builder, such as an ordered list of buildpacks.
  • How the application starts.

What you cannot set

  • Which build worker runs the build, or its address.
  • External cache import or export, cache storage credentials or host cache paths.
  • Publishing the built image to your own registry.

These are refused before the build starts. See Unsupported features.

Supported builders

The list of supported builders and languages is published with the interface reference.

Build output

Each build's output is kept with its record so you can read it after the build finishes, including failed builds.
