Build caching
Automatic, per-application build caching managed by id0n.
Runtime caches build data automatically, so repeat builds of the same application are faster. You do not configure the cache.
How it behaves
- Automatic: ordinary builds reuse cached data with no setup.
- Per application: cached data is tied to one application. Another application never reuses it, even when the inputs look the same.
- Managed: id0n chooses where caches are stored, how big they are and how long they are kept.
Clearing the cache
You can ask Runtime to purge an application's build cache. The next build runs without cached data.
Not available
Importing or exporting cache to your own storage, supplying cache credentials, or choosing a cache location are not available. Builds that request them are refused with an error, rather than silently running without the setting.
