Email and password
Sign-up and sign-in with email and password, with verification and password reset.
Enabled per environment
id0n enables sign-in methods and features for each Legation environment. Ask id0n to turn on what your application needs.

Email verification
Legation can send a verification email. If your environment requires verification, sign-in for an unverified user fails with EMAIL_NOT_VERIFIED, and Legation can send the verification email again.

VERIFICATION_EMAIL_NOT_ENABLED | Verification emails are not enabled for the environment. |
INVALID_TOKEN, TOKEN_EXPIRED | The link is wrong or too old. Request a new one. |
Password reset
- The user requests a reset for their email.
- Legation emails a reset link.
- The user opens the link and sets a new password.
Change or set a password
Changing a password requires the current password and a fresh session. Users who signed up without a password can set one; PASSWORD_ALREADY_SET means they already have one.
